Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: When I turn on the robot, why is there no response?
1. Low voltage: please recharge all your batteries or replace them with new ones.
2. Batteries may be installed in the wrong polarity (+/-).
3. Incorrect wiring on the battery holder or motor.
Q2: When I control the robot to move forward, it moves backwards. How can I fix this?
The wiring of the motor is connected in reverse. Please reconnect.
Q3: How do I program my robot or restore its factory settings?
Download our programming software, connect the robot to the PC via USB cable, and select the correct serial port and mainboard type in the software to start coding.
- "Online Firmware" supports live testing of your program.
- "Factory Firmware" will resume the factory settings.
- "Mobile Firmware" supports mobile application control.
Q4: Why can I not connect the robot to the computer via USB or wireless?
Your computer may lack the mainboard driver. Please install the driver through the programming software's "Help" menu, restart the robot, and attempt connection again.
Q5: Why does the robot not move with a USB power supply?
USB power supply only supports the chip and sensors on the mainboard. To drive the motors or servos, please connect batteries and switch on the power button.
Q6: Why doesn't the Line-following Sensor work?
1. Make sure the distance between the Line-following sensor and line-following map is between 1-2cm for optimal performance.
2. Do not use Line-following mode under strong light, which can interfere with the sensor.
3. Ensure you use non-reflective material to make your own line-following map.
